CASTA organizes a week-long ski trip each season. These trips offer members the opportunity to visit some of the most glamorous ski locations in North America or Europe and are coordinated and led by an experienced CASTA Group Leader. By putting together the trips “in house,” CASTA is able to take advantage of significant cost savings for its members.
Planning for these trips begins in early March/April for the next season. Members receive information about the trip being planned, including dates, location, and any side excursions being explored. By May/June, initial deposits must be made to secure your spot on the trip and the schedule for subsequent payments for the trip is announced. The total cost of the trips generally includes airfare, hotel, breakfasts and dinners, as well as ground transportation to and from airports. Many trips also include the cost of one or two side trips to visit local attractions.
Members are responsible for their own ski rentals (or ski baggage fee if it is not covered by the airline), lunches, and any other incidental costs such as trail fees (unless otherwise noted), souvenirs, bar tabs, etc. Once you sign up for a trip, you will begin to receive frequent information about the location and its highlights, and any questions you may have will be answered thoroughly. For both skiers and non-skiers alike, these trips are a first-class experience and not to be missed!
